I’m finally doing it. I’ve been dreaming and planning for months now – years really – but just recently has it become a reality.
While navigating through this crazy life with my husband and our three kids, I have found many passions. I’m passionate about God, foremost, and I’m ever so thankful for the grace he has given me and the courage to be who I am. I am passionate about family – what it means to truly belong. To be loved for my flaws and imperfections. My husband has always accepted me as I am and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. So here I am, thirty years old, traversing the seasons of life – my season of motherhood. This journey is hard. It’s an ever-changing emotional and physical tidal wave. Along this journey, I am learning so much and I pray that I am able to share my knowledge and talents with others in order to inspire hope, belief, strength, and courage to overcome any obstacle that hinders their path.
I am passionate about the human body and our awe-inspiring design and function. I am constantly amazed at how the body adapts and has a willingness to mold to its surroundings. The changes that the female body undertakes is vast and miraculous during pregnancy, child birth, and postpartum. It’s so important to take the time to honor ourselves and our beautiful design for what it has and will accomplish in our lifetime.
And so, Graceful Tides is my way of sharing with other women the beauty and strength of their body. It’s my way of empowering mothers of any age to honor their mind, body, and soul. It’s my way of embracing our sameness and differences. This is me – offering non-judgemental support, knowledge, and awareness to all women.
